Promise Christian University is registered with the Bureau for Private Post-Secondary and Vocational Education in the State of California with "Religious Exemption." Although the BPPVE is now BPPE, Promise Christian University has voluntarily signed an agreement to continue operate under the rules and regulations of this organization and has subscribed to the new policies adopted by the California Legislature. Promise Christian University and all its locations and study centers qualify for exclusion as a nonprofit religious corporation and operates under and is governed by the California State Education Code CEC 94739 (b) (b). Promise Christian University is not a member of a regionally accrediting organization. However, Promise Christian College is now working towards national and international accreditation with a recognized accrediting organization. Promise Christian University and College is under the covering of World for Jesus International Christian Center and Ministries, a 501 (3)(c) religious tax exempt organization which was founded for the purpose of training and preparing men and women for the work of the ministry in the 21st century. GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS In order to receive their EARNED DEGREE, students must have satisfactorily completed the required course of study as set forth by the admissions committee.
